LOCAL FAVORITES

We love to support local businesses! A few of our favorites in Rockford are Haven Creek, Aunt Candy's Toy Company, Great Lakes Fly Fishing Company, Great Northern Trading Company, Kayla Rae Cellars, and Speed Merchants Bike Shop.

Another local favorite of ours is Harvest Fest. This takes place for 3 weekends in September and October and features games, parades, a chili cook-off, car show, hayrides, and more.

THINGS TO DO

  • Go canoeing, kayaking, or grab a tube and float down the Rogue River
  • Mountain bike the Merrel Trail (West Michigan's only true flow trail)
  • Take a bike ride or walk through the Fred White Pine Trail
  • Go picnicking or fishing at the Rockford Dam Overlook - you'll also get a great view of the Rouge River!
  • Watch a movie at NorthStar Cinemas
  • Catch a baseball game at Art Van Sports Complex

THE FOOD SCENE

Rockford is booming with amazing restaurants with even better menus.

Some of the best local spots include One Twenty Three Tavern, Ramona's Table, Rockford Brewing Company, and Poke Toki.
