Alger Heights is a small neighborhood in Grand Rapids. It is the only neighborhood that was built up during World War II and The Great Depression. Alger Heights makes for a great place to call home with many local businesses, easy to walk around in, good food, and a quick drive to Downtown Grand Rapids.

Alger Heights has a ton of locally owned, unique businesses. Some of our favorites include Ken's Fruit Market for fresh produce and meat, Alger Hardware & Rental - a locally owned hardware shop, and R3 Solutions - an reupholstery and remanufacturing shop.
Alger Heights has a few local restaurants that we love to go to. The Old Goat is a chic industrial style gastropub with traditional American food. Mineo's Pizza is a local pizza restaurant with good prices. Real Food Cafe offers breakfast served all day, lunch, and bakery options.
